I’ve always been a lover of flowers, plants and nature. Growing up I would happily head to the local nurseries with my mum and Nan most weekends and admire everything on offer. Our garden at home was, and still is, filled with beautiful blooms like snapdragons, zinnias, dahlias, sweet peas, hydrangea, and roses.

I wasn’t too sure what I wanted to do when I left school. Luckily for me I followed my instincts and enrolled in a Horticultural Science degree at the University of Western Australia and loved all four years of it. I decided to keep going (what’s another four years?!) and ended up successfully completing a Doctor of Philosophy which makes me Dr Fox!

My degrees led me to work in some pretty awesome places, in particular Margaret River. I lectured in Viticulture at Curtin University for 10 years and during this time I got married, had two gorgeous girls and we built our home.  I love where we were live, it’s an incredibly beautiful and creative place.  We’ve only got one lifetime and I decided to follow a dream and train as a florist. So I took off my lab coat (metaphorically speaking!) and picked up a pair of snips!!! I launched Fox & Co Flowers in 2016 and I feel right at home in my flower filled world.

Hi I’m Kat! I’m a Floral Freelancer and mum of two little, amazing humans. We love bush walks, getting crafty and creative, and drawing inspiration from our beautiful home town Margaret River.

I’ve been creating floral magic for 11 years now and my favourite bloom is the cafe latte dahlia. You'll usually find me in a dress rain, hail or shine, I’m a lover of architecture, design, landscapes and styling, and with one Powerball you’d find me on a return trip to Morocco for an all you can buy interior and homewares shopping spree!

I love ~ animals, singing in the shower, a good doco, and creating beautiful and timeless florals. Oh, and a glass of chardy? Yes please!
